Podcast #31:18 Walkatop-Tom Brown-Lifetime Mover

Thomas H. Brown (in his own words): “64 year old lifelong mover, born and raised in Duquesne Heights in a loving Irish Catholic household. 12 years at St Mary of the Mount and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. I was a gandy dancer, railroad engineer (proud union member and officer of div 370 of the BLE), bulk mailing warehouse line worker, stage hand and finally a warehouse supervisor. I have been an avid reader my entire life.”
Tom Brown is involved with the Thomas Brown Alton Foundation (a Birmingham Foundation Fund), which organizes the annual WALKATOP Urban Hiking Adventure in Emerald View Park on Mount Washington (Pittsburgh, PA).  This year’s event will be held on September 16, 2018. Proceeds from WALKATOP benefit the Thomas Brown Alton Foundation, which is dedicated to suicide prevention by helping those in need toward improved mental health.
